It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. For fire ant control, sprinkle 1–3 tablespoons directly over each mound, using 1 tablespoon for small mounds and up to 3 tablespoons for large mounds. Apply when ants are active, avoid disturbing the mound during application, and do not apply water after treatment. Repeat applications only if ants reappear and no more than once per week.
