❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a complete boiler treatment or a supplemental chemical?
This product is formulated as a complete boiler treatment containing all necessary components for soft water steam systems.

Can this product be used in large industrial boilers?
Yes. Gradual and continuous feeding is recommended for industrial process and other large boilers.

Does this product protect condensate return lines?
Yes. The formulation includes a volatile amine corrosion inhibitor that travels with the steam to protect condensate plumbing.

Can it be mixed with other boiler treatment chemicals?
Yes. It may be mixed with other boiler treatment chemicals and diluted with water for convenient feeding.

What if the boiler system has never been treated before?
An initial starting dose of twice the normal weekly maintenance amount is recommended for the first four weeks.

Is routine blowdown required when using this product?
Yes. The treatment program must be accompanied by regular blowdown to remove sludge and suspended solids.

🧪 Active Ingredient(s) or Core Composition
Water – Carrier for uniform distribution throughout the system
Potassium Hydroxide – Provides alkalinity for scale control
Acrylamide-Acrylic Acid Copolymer – Disperses mineral deposits and helps prevent scaling
Diethyl Ethanolamine – Volatile amine that protects steam and condensate lines from corrosion
Tetrapotassium Pyrophosphate – Enhances soft water treatment and deposit control

📌 Directions for Use (Summary)
This product may be fed on a one-shot basis or through an automated continuous feed system. Gradual and continuous feeding is recommended for industrial process and large boilers. For systems not previously treated, apply a starting dose of twice the recommended weekly maintenance amount for the first four weeks.
For weekly maintenance, add ½ gallon per week for each 25 horsepower of boiler capacity. Actual dosage may vary based on feedwater characteristics, percent condensate return, and operational horsepower. Maintain hydroxide alkalinity levels between 150–250 ppm and sulfite levels between 20–40 ppm. Regular blowdown is required to remove sludge and suspended solids.
